Meridian Charter Solutions SOLUTIONS
Operating Principle

Assess the threat. Protect the asset. Hold the line.

Meridian Charter Solutions is the protective-services division of Meridian Charter Group, established to deliver risk advisory, manned guarding, secure logistics and close protection across Nigeria. From static site security and access control to secure cargo movement and executive protection, the division is built to safeguard people, premises and high-value goods in demanding and high-risk environments. Its teams are drawn from police, ex-military and hostile-environment operators — bringing the discipline, threat awareness and composure under pressure that frontline service instils.

Six disciplines. One standard of protection.

From a single guarded gate to a cross-country consignment escort, every Meridian Charter Solutions mandate rests on the same foundation — honest assessment, thorough planning and disciplined execution, carried over from military and conflict-zone service.

Close Protection

Executive & Personal Protection

Trained close-protection officers for principals, executives and visiting delegations — low-profile or overt, with advance reconnaissance, route planning and secure transport.

Secure Logistics

Asset & Consignment in Transit

Escort and journey security for high-value cargo and refinery-grade consignments — convoy command, route management and documented chain-of-custody handover, built on armoured-vehicle command experience.

Manned Guarding

Static & Facility Security

Vetted, supervised guards for warehouses, plants and offices — access control, gate management and patrolling, structured to meet Nigeria’s NSCDC Private Guard Company requirements.

Control Room

Surveillance & Monitoring

Round-the-clock monitoring, CCTV oversight, alarm response and incident coordination from a central operations desk — eyes on the asset at all hours.

Risk Advisory

Threat & Security Assessment

Security surveys, threat and vulnerability assessments and protective planning for sites, journeys and events — practical judgement from people who have operated in genuinely hostile environments.

Crisis Response

Hostile-Environment Support

Contingency planning, evacuation support and crisis management for operations in complex, high-risk locations — informed by frontline humanitarian and conflict-zone deployments.

Assess. Plan. Deploy. Review.

Protection is a discipline, not a presence. Every mandate — whether a single guarded site or a multi-vehicle movement across state lines — runs through the same four-stage cycle our team learned where the stakes were highest. Nothing is deployed on assumption: the ground is assessed, the plan is written and agreed with the client, the task is executed under clear command, and the outcome is reviewed against the plan. Each stage produces a documented output the client can hold us to, and every review sharpens the next deployment. The setting may change; the standard does not.

Operations briefing — route planning for escort and delivery
01

Assess

We begin with a threat and vulnerability assessment of the site, route or principal — understanding what could go wrong before anyone is deployed.

Threat & Vulnerability Report
02

Plan

A protective plan is built around the assessment: posture, manning, routes, communications and contingencies, agreed in full with the client.

03

Deploy

Vetted, briefed and equipped personnel are placed under clear command, with defined reporting lines and rules of engagement.

Review

Every deployment is logged, debriefed and reviewed — incidents captured, lessons applied and the plan tightened for next time.

Benjamin Grant

Benjamin Grant

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Benjamin Grant founded Meridian Charter Solutions on a career spent operating where security is not optional. A former Royal Marines Commando, he moved into protective and hostile-environment work — including armed close-protection operations in Iraq, frontline military operations in Ukraine, and humanitarian crisis operations across Gaza, Morocco, Turkey and Greece as Director of Operations. He has also served on anti-human-trafficking operations across South America, helping to combat the trafficking of women and children.

That frontline experience — assessing threat, protecting people and assets, and holding discipline under pressure — is the foundation of how Meridian Charter Solutions operates. British-born with Nigerian heritage, Benjamin leads the division from Lagos as part of Meridian Charter Group.

We do not advertise what we protect. We assess honestly, plan thoroughly, and stand where we are needed. Security is not a uniform — it is judgement, discipline, and the will to hold the line.
